Let’s face it — most kratom vendors out there join the market not really to help the general population, but to make a profit off of other people’s needs. That’s why very few well-established kratom brands go the extra mile to establish a close relationship with their buyers, turning the entire experience nothing more than a business transaction.
But according to Golden Rule Botanicals, that’s not what they’re about. Dedicated to providing buyers quality products, the brand was established with the objective of helping people improve overall wellness. Now the question is — how far do they go to achieve that vision?
The Golden Rule Botanicals brand was established in 2013 with the objective to reduce self-harm, improve mental health, and provide individuals a natural product for self-care. The brand emphasizes that they don’t offer a wide assortment of products because they don’t want to reel people in with variety. Instead, they focus on the offerings that they’ve found to be profoundly beneficial, providing real benefits for their consumers.
There are quite a lot of threads on Reddit that talk about Golden Rule Botanicals, but they’re not all that pretty. While there are some comments that claim that the brand’s products and friendly customer service are well worth the money, there are others who couldn’t care less for their alleged shilling.
These comments were made in reference to fresh Reddit posts from first-time Redditors, claiming that they ‘found this great place that offers excellent kratom.’ Naturally, some people felt inclined to raise a brow at the strange activity, claiming that the masked Redditor was none other than the vendor itself. But that was never really confirmed.
On their Google Business Page, Golden Rule Botanicals has 30 consumer reviews, all of which aren’t verified as actual buyers. Nonetheless, they leave the brand with an average rating of 5 out of 5 stars, stating that their products are some of the best in the Tempe, Arizona area.
Golden Rule Botanicals advocates for mental health and self harm reduction, which is why they offer a range of botanicals that have been said to improve overall mental wellness and mood. So aside from kratom, you’re going to find all sorts of natural wellness products including shilajit, kanna, brakshun, and m. hirsuta.
Their kratom department is stocked with a diverse range of kratom strains and color veins including greens, reds, whites, and yellows. Varieties include Maeng Da, Thai, Malay, Borneo, Sumatra, and Bali. They also offer a few curiosities like Bison, Semar, Tiger, Waka Wali, and Dark Indo. Weights for their kratom powders include 1oz, 2oz, 4oz, 8oz, 12oz, 1lb, and 1kg.
Since the brand is pretty big on mental health, they encourage buyers to try their split kilograms and split pounds since using the same strain over and over (regardless of how good it is) has been found to develop a tolerance. That said, they offer 2 to 6-way splits for their half pound, pound, half kilo, and kilogram bags.
Do note that the Golden Rule Botanicals brand doesn’t have lab reports for any of their kratom. So while they might assert that they impose strict measures during the selection process and that they perform ‘extensive lab testing’ (according to their website), they don’t have any reports to show for.
Would we say that they’re cheap? Well, not exactly. However according to the brand, their prices ‘are designed to be sustainable and reflect the best offerings and the best quality possible.’ That said, they offer their 1oz packs at $8 which is right within market value for that amount of product. But then again, they sell their kilograms for $148, which is double the price that other vendors are capable of offering.
To help buyers shave down their totals, the Golden Rule Botanicals brand often releases coupon codes and discounts that let you get price cuts on your orders. They also have a subscription plan that lets you buy your products at a discounted price, and have them delivered to your doorstep on a routine schedule.
Based on the website, it seems that the brand doesn’t offer a free shipping promo regardless of how much you’re buying. So it helps to factor in the added fee if you’re trying to stay within budget.
We all love to see a brand that’s truly dedicated to providing buyers quality products that support mental health and wellness. And while the Golden Rule Botanicals brand definitely embodies that narrative, there are a few areas for improvement we’d all love to see the brand work on, like their prices and their discount opportunities.
Nonetheless, since they have gained the trust and loyalty of quite a few buyers, and with the substantial reviews pointing to their reliability as a vendor, there’s really no risk in giving their products a try.
