What is the Global Kratom Coalition?

Global Kratom Coalition is a group of leaf kratom experts and industry leaders dedicated to protecting the future of kratom. Currently chaired by Dr. C. Michael White, a renowned clinical pharmacologist and pharmacist, the association is focused on putting resources together for advanced scientific research and to provide scientifically-backed information so consumers can make informed decisions.

Established in 2023, GKC’s mission is centered on 5 key areas.

1. Consumers’ Access to Kratom

GKC’s stance is that everyone has the choice to decide how to care about their health and wellness. However, there should be the latest unbiased information available to consumers to base their decisions on, and GKC is committed to providing the information. Their goal is to make sure consumers around the world have access to leaf kratom and are putting resources together to advance scientific findings upon which consumers can make informed decisions.

2. Providing Quality Education on Leaf Kratom

The major reason for the discrepancies between those for and against kratom is a lack of proper education. Even among kratom consumers, there is much misinformation that can potentially lead to abuse of the herb. However, the Global Kratom Coalition believes that by putting more accurate and evidence-based information out there, the public can fully understand more about leaf kratom products.

3. Advocating for Responsible Regulations on Kratom

GKC believes that there are unfair judgments on kratom around the world that need to be revised and possibly reversed. Instead of an outright ban on pure leaf kratom, the Global Kratom Coalition speaks as a united voice for fair and reasonable regulations that focus on consumers’ well-being, freedom of information, and standard manufacturing practices.
